Project Description: Branding, Logo, and Web Design for K.i Company Overview: At K.i, a London-based technology brand in the AI, Blockchain, and Smart Contract space. I had the opportunity to lead various design and administrative initiatives including overseeing branding, web, and graphic design, alongside managing critical file management and administrative tasks.

Project Overview: The project involved a comprehensive design of the company’s brand identity, including the creation of a new logo and the development of a cohesive web design. The primary goal was to refresh the brand’s visual identity to better align with the company’s evolving market position and to enhance user engagement across digital platforms.

K.i. Logo 

The logo I designed for K.i. embodies a minimalistic and modern aesthetic, featuring a simple square outline with "K.i." inside. The "K" has a unique segment cut from it, to complement the shape of the "i", which has a chiselled angle on its top dot. This design subtly alludes to a lit match, reflecting the concept of heat – a nod to the scientific term "Ki" and its association with the computer heat generated by our technology. Additionally, I created different variations of the logo without the outer box for flexible application across various mediums, ensuring the logo remains versatile and recognizable in all contexts.

Social Media design
 

When designing social media marketing posts for K.i, I opted for a minimal yet bold aesthetic to create visually striking content that captures attention quickly. By abstractly incorporating design elements from the logo, I ensured brand consistency while adding a creative twist. Each post prominently highlighted K.i’s core business values, using clean lines and strong typography to convey a clear and compelling message.

The design direction of K.i.'s website focuses on using dark colors and bold imagery to create a distinctive and striking visual identity that sets us apart from our competitors. This aesthetic choice not only enhances the site’s modern and sophisticated appeal but also ensures that our technology and offerings are prominently showcased. The primary function of the website is to serve as a powerful marketing tool for potential clients, investors, and stakeholders, with a heavy emphasis on our cutting-edge technology and unique market positioning.

Print Materials
 

For print materials at K.i, I focused on creating business cards and informational documents with a minimal design aesthetic, leveraging clean layouts and an abundance of minimal vector graphics to ensure clarity and professionalism. This approach provided a sleek, modern look that was easy to read and visually appealing

in meetings. For other print materials, such as invitations, I aimed for a more visually striking and playful design, incorporating bold colors and dynamic elements to convey a sense of excitement and creativity. Given our digital-centric operations, print materials were limited, but when utilized, they were crafted to leave a lasting impression while aligning with our brand’s playful yet professional identity.

Skills and Tools Utilized:

Outcome: The rebranding and web design project resulted in a modernized and cohesive brand identity for K.i, significantly enhancing its market presence. The new logo received positive feedback from both internal stakeholders and customers, and the revamped website improved user engagement and functionality. The successful completion of this project demonstrated my ability to lead complex design initiatives and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
